PES 2008 - Patched

I rammed in my disc of Pro Evo 2008 last night, after downloading the second or three patch, and managed to play three games. Two against Barca and one against Inter so nothing has changed on that front .

What has changed though is that I encountered practically zero slowdown or lag. I did take a few minutes to get a game each time but other than that is seems I will be moving over to the very much missed gameplay of PES to get my footie fix, even though I am sure FIFA 08 will be finding it's way into my disc tray too!

I have been playing a bit of Pro online lately and I am happy to report that the lag is no longer a problem. Its still not as smooth as FIFA 08 but it doesnt really bother me.

To be honest I have missed the Pro Evo gameplay and the shooting is far superior.

I think i will stick to FIFA this year. In any case i can't see myself playing the game apart from during the Euro.

When I get down there and bring round a copy of PES 2008 and together with a few beers what would your reply be if I was to ask:

"You up for some Master League?"
