Nice , is this an actual example of the puzzles in Professor Layton? I have heard very good things about the game and the couple of clips I have seen of the cut scenes are jaw droppingly good for the DS.

As long as there are no questions on functions, deviation and what not then I am happy.

BTW ... I reckon the answer to your conundrum is 15 peeps saved and 5 die at sea. 

Yes, it's one of the puzzles. This is a fantastic game. Anyone with some common sense and basic knowledge can play it. Combines with a really good story and like u said gorgeous art (think Tin Tin) it's a game worth buying the DS for. It's a Japanese trilogy and they are now translating it for the western audience so we can expect 2 more if this one sells well. So far it's only available in the US but the DS is region free so you can get a copy from ebay like i did and play on a Euro DS.

As for the answer to the puzzle you will have to wait until tomorrow.

4.5 min to take 5 people to the island

9 min to get back

13,5 to take another 5 people in the island, total 10

18 min to go pack and take the remaining 5, so everybody is saved!

Shame on you Cotsio for thinking there are 20 people!

Ok guys the answer is actually 13 people will be saved. The reasoning is that although the raft can make 3 trips there will always be one person on it when it comes back (someone has to bring the raft back to the boat you see!).

So it's actually 3 trips with 4 people plus the guy(s) who will be bringing the raft back and forth.

A moment of silence for the two who did not make it please.

i thought of the captain of the raft after i posted, that 5 take the raft so whoes gonna return it...what the hell...we all can be wrong sometimes!
