The game is pure class, I want to focus on learning one character at a time and I have all of Ryu's special moves nailed. The hard part is to learn how to chain your attacks together.
There is a great two minute video (IGN) on the marketplace, the first of a few apparentlty, that talks about strategy in the game. It was pretty good and I learnt a thing or two.
I will be going to Mr Miyaki for my training. My 101 classes will be with Ryu but then i want to move on to someone else. It will be cool to each have different characters.
I want to learn how to play with a character other than Ryu and Ken. I am trying Viper at the moment but I dont know how long the relationship will last, any suggestion boys?

Finished the game on Hardest difficulty setting without using continues and in the process beat Gouken (in single round matches get: 5 first attacks, 1 perfect and 3 ultra combo finishes).........with Zangief. lol
Also finished Survival in both normal and hard and unlocked over 40 icons of various insects, animals and sea creatures.
Great game. Time investment builds up one's skills and the game is very rewarding.
Akuma's Ultra combo still eludes me. A master pianist would do it easily on a fighting stick.

I know a shop in Paphos that sells Hori EX2 fighting sticks for around 60 Euros, 10 more than an official xbox360 MS wireless pad. It's like the one i've got. Mad Catz sticks are very expensive and i don't know if they are worth it.
That Viper guy is an amateur. Started celebrating just because he pulled off the Ultra...
The loss serves him right. Next time i believe he will be more careful and take into consideration the fact that Viper's Ultra in a vertical one and unless it connects, it leaves her exposed to anything on her way down. Sagat had only 3% vitality but it was enough to just block the ground slam and prepare for his Ultra while his opponent was helplessly coming down from the Ultra.
...and unlike the above,
This is the greatest finalle:
Legendary. Very hard to pull off, very exciting and crowd pleasing. The crowd goes mad for the sheer excellence of Daigo who managed to tech-block an Ultra and counter with his own. What makes this fight exceptional is the fact that whoever landed his Combo first, would have won and the fact that Daigo did not have any vitality left and tech-block is the only way to not loose any vitality. Justin could have easily finished the fight with a chip-damage blocked special move but he chose to end it in style and ending it in style he did, only he wasn't the one left standing.

my game of the year and its still only april. i just hoped that online service in cyprus was better so id get to play more people worldwide lag free. i consider mylself pretty awesome with akuma and ryu and am at the process of mastering Fei Long. if you wanna master other characters other than the usual shotokan mix i suggest fei long, abel, zangief and guile.
ps i feel we have been cheated by capcom omitting T hawk and Dee Jay from the roster. hopefully DLC will fix that

I agree with you Mr....
What's your gamertag and when are we playing?
Zangief is very easy to Master. I used him to beat all Time Attack and Survival Challenges, beat the game on Hardest difficulty and unlock Akuma, Gouken and Legendary Champion achievement.

I suggest you watch some videos on YouTube to develop some tactics when facing Seth or just set matches to 1 round and 30 seconds duration. At the start you can always inflict major damage to Seth and then go defensive and block all the way. By the time he recovers and counter-attacks, the time will run out. Start the match with a heavy jumping kick followed by a low heavy kick or anything else that continues the combo.

Chun-Li, Blanka or any of the rest of the shotokan Fighters. Fei Long along with other fighters has an endless loop combo.
Re: Street Fighter IV (360, PS3)
I am trying to get to grips with El Fuerte. It's quite frustrating so far but hopefully rewarding at some stage...soon....i hope....

Where?
Re: Street Fighter IV (360, PS3)
Have you tried out your new fight stick Costa?
I really want to unlock all the characters but it just seems so daunting every time I think about it. Seth is a real ball breaker for me.
