I'm playing this only if i get it as a present* or when in 2010 is sold for 10 Euros....because it's being sold as a full price retail game and it's not worth it since the campaign in 3-5 hours long, Halo 3 had 4 player co-op that was very laggy and one could not enjoy it and i already own the 20 odd multiplayer maps. + the COD crazy greek speaking lot is much more entertaining, interesting and consistent (20 30-year old greek speaking players playing only COD every day for at least 8 hours) + i'm much better on COD than Halo.

For somebody who's not into COD or GOW and doesn't own the Heroic/Legendary/Mythic map packs this is highly recommended. The rest wait 6 months and get it 10 Euros.

It's Euros46 on play so it's no completely full price.

Anw the campaign is somewhere between 6-10 hours long so it's not less than the majority of FPS games out there plus it has the maps you mentioned. It's supposed to have the best single player campaign of all the Halos so fingers crossed.

I suck at Halo 3 so probably not.  Plus the list is already long enough: the new CoD, Madden, Left 4 Dead 2 etc. etc. If I'm still alive when it comes out then I will also need cash for Alan Wake, although games with that much hype/delay so often disappoint.  I'm also tempted by the limited edition CoD 360: 250gb Hard Drive.  That's 250! Monty, i think we are both OK with our 120G replacement HDD for about 3 years more as long as we don't buy any games-on-demand. After tranfering all data, i downloaded all 25 recent demos and still have 70G empty space.

Started playing the campaign yesterday.

I am loving it so far. I don't know whether it's because it's been a long time since i last played a shooter or whether the game is that good yet.

How long it took u and on what difficulty?

I estimate around 7-8 hours on Heroic.

Started it today on Legendary and already finished 5 missions. After i finish it, i am willing to try FireFight.
