What launch day?

Nobody respects launch day. A shop in Paphos sold 135 copies on Saturday and stayed open on Sunday until all 200 were sold out. I was there. It was crazy.

People on my friends list have reached prestige 2 with legal copies. Others have already finished the campaign. I'm personally waiting for the Prestige Edition to arrive from HMV that was posted on the 3rd of November. I'm not in a rush since 1000s have already an unfair advantage and Forza 3 is an awesome game that keeps me excited and complete.

The game may have already been sold to a lot of people but there is still not a single review out there.....

DHL just delivered it to me. HMV did a fine job. They posted it on the 3rd. I only paid 3 Euros postage.

Bad customer service from Game. Pre-Ordered the Veteran edition only to told TODAY that the game cannot be shipped to Cyprus as it is over 1Kg.....

That's strange. It works on my PC. I've just tested it again.

Anyway, all in all, a good 11-hour session 2day. Played some missions of the campaign, tried out the special-ops and unlocked a sh*tload of things in MP while reaching level 20.

Yeah it works at home as well. Maybe i have restrictions at the office.

Finished the Campaign on Veteran difficulty and found all intel in 1 sitting. It's the easiest Veteran of any COD. There is no WAW grenade spamming and no infinite enemies spawing. The real challenge of this game is getting 3 stars on special-ops missions which i'm currently doing.

Got 3 stars on all Alpha and Bravo special-ops missions with Takis 2 CYP. Starting Charlie 2day.

I've just Prestiged. I got: 1 extra custom slot, new emblems, new titles, 2 extra challenges for all weapons and around 10 new extra challenges Prestige pack.

One needs 2506000 XP to Prestige.

2506000 to prestige?!  That's mad, all that effort and you have to start over again, you'd have to be mad. 

Ofcourse I'll be going for it.  It's rude not to.

Slowly but surely.

Finished the campaign on normal in just a few hours. Fuck! It's way too short on regular and i can't see my self replaying this on a harder difficulty.

Good game but did not enjoy it as much as it first one. Felt quite a bit disjointed (i.e. set-pieces just added together) and too hectic at times.

MW2 can now simply do without a single player tbh. I would buy it on launch just for the multiplayer but not the other way around.

I agree and i don't think it will make my top 5 GOTY 2009 list due to some online issues and things that Treyarch included in 5 while IW ommited in 6.
