Any 3-4 player game we can try?

It should be something that is relatively chilled. Also preferably something that we are all at the same level or have not played b4.

Any ideas?

Well, i can't think of a chilled one or one where we are all at the same level or have not played b4, but these should be great fun:

Borderlands

Monster Hunter Tri

RDRedemption

Bad company 2

SSF4

Operation Flashpoint: DR

Lost Planet 2

Forza 3

A sports game

L4D or L4D2

The problem is we all play different games or stick to specific games at different times and we play them at different rates. Examples that i can remember are Borderlands where only 2 players played only 1 session and Left 4 Dead where 4 players managed to play only once together.

I believe Borderlands was the best uber chance we had, but i and you bought it together, played once together, then i, using a different character finished it along with all DLC and reached level 60, then Aaron got it and now Mardas got it. I'm not pessimistic for the future regarding this matter since similar games will come along but better planning and a higher commitment is needed.

I agree re that we need

I agree re that we need better planning and commitment. It's important that we are all at the same level in the game otherwise it can spoil the fun if one has already played it whereas the others are playing it for the first time.

Of the games you have on that list i think Lost Planet 2 coop is our best bet. I would like to see L4D2 also but i just can't see us playing it. We need a game that is new to all of us and that has an ending.

Monster Hunter Tri we can play the two of us when we both have time for it. That game needs a lot of time investment.

I believe Borderlands can

I believe Borderlands can still offer us loads of fun. The reasons are: a) The game is all about looting and having fun co-op (the story in non existent in terms of replaying it and loosing it's appeal in the 2nd playthrough. b) It's not that demanding it terms of concentration or skill so one can play and at the same time have fun talking about anything else and c) it's flexible in terms of difficulty since the level of the host sets the difficulty level so if let's say Mardas- level 20 hosts and i use a 30 level character with you guys and we get our asses kicked by the AI because the game raises the enemies level to cope with the 4-player co-op (we won't be having fun), then i use my 60 level character and my pearlecent weapons and only fire if the situation requires it. This way, we all have fun playing and talking, you guys loot better weapons and after you reach the required levels, i duplicate my pearls for you.

BTW, the 2 DLCs are highly recommended (Zombie Island and Secret Armoury)

Borderlands would be good I

Borderlands would be good I have the Secret Armoury DLC only at the moment.  Timing is not great though, with new baby due any day now.  I'll try and work out some time that I can ringfence for a regular commitment.

Scrap that last comment, just

Scrap that last comment, just loaded up op flash point, omfg, what a game!  I don't have a feckin clue what i'm doin but I'm kind of, like sort of,  immersed.  If ever there was a multiplayer game, then surely this is it.  I need help, I need advice and I will be playing and smelling like your mum's pants at this game, but there is something about it that is telling me I'll spend the whole summer, if need be, working out how to use those damned command menus.  Err... anyone else up for OFDR?

DEFINITELY INSIDE!!!!!!!! I

DEFINITELY INSIDE!!!!!!!!

I have not played it yet. Do i need to go through a tutorial first? Let me know so that i can play it tonight! Inside for sure. Also this is perfect timing because in 2weeks i think the only thing i will do is drink beer and watch football!

OFDR! Count me in! I loved

OFDR! Count me in! I loved the campaign. Never tried it online. A friend of mine has it as well. The game looks hardcore and it is hardcore but still the difficulty is OK on normal once you know what to do.

Some tips: Never depend on your AI squad. Just keep them in a line or chevron formation.

Use the emeny default AR or you own AR with the scope. Kneel before you shoot. Fire one bullet at a time. Aim above their heads to compensate for bullet drop.

Doing the above, i breezed past the campaign. My squad was spotting the enemy from 200m away, and then i, using the above techniques, was killing everybody from 150m away while enemy bullets rarely injured me becauce enemy AI accurancy sucks at that distance.

Playing 1 mission is enough for somebody to familiarise himself with the controls. The game is simpler than the controls make it look because if one wants, can only use 1/5 of all the commands and controls available and still enjoy the game on Normal.

Here are some codes for some free extra side missions. To enter the following codes, go to the extras menu, and then select bonus codes.

AmbushU454 - Ambush
CloseQ8M3 - Close Quarters
StrongM577 - Coastal Stronghold
OFPWEB2 - Debris Field
OFPWEB1 - Encampment
RaidT18Z - Night Raid

I think the game is dead online cause i never managed to find a match when i was playing it and there is also DLC available for it.

Wait... We are talking about

Wait... We are talking about playing the campaing co-op. Right?

If it's just multiplayer sessions then i am not interested.

I'm in for campaign co-op. MP

I'm in for campaign co-op. MP does not interest me either.
