I wanna try special ops

I wanna try special ops co-op, Tuesdays are good for me 3.00p.m onwards.

In Mp I will let others down, I just don't know the maps yet. What set up (perks etc) of those you have unlocked are you using for mp?

Some of the maps are really challenging like the Favella. There are just too many alleys, windows, rooftops, hiding spots, etc.

I joined u last night in Favella in TDM but did not do well either.

I have a Rambo TDM class:

Famas + holographic sight

javelin

grenade

stun grenade

sleight of hand pro

stopping power pro

steady aim

The Famas is a 1-burst kill with stopping power across the biggest map due to its accurancy.

Its rate of fire and the pro sleight of hand (quick reload and ADS) owns everybody's reaction time

The javelin brings down all helicopters, harriers and ac130 and nets me even more points.

I also have a Ninja TDM class:

Famas + holographic sight + suppressor

suppressed machine pistol

grenade

flash grenade

Bling

Cold blooded

Ninja

This loadout ensures i never come up on any radar, UAV, heartbeat sensor, killstreak no matter what the enemy or i do. This is also an indoor class and i sometimes change the holographic sight for the heartbeat sensor. Since i'm indoors i do not need a javelin to bring down anything from the sky.

In maps like Afghan, Derail and Wasteland i may use my Ninja Sniper class which is a mix of both of the above in terms of perks. My primary weapon is a suppressed sniper rifle: WA2000. When i kill somebody, i stay in ADS and aim elsewhere in order to make it harder for the enemy to pinpoint my location in kill-cam.

My other 2 classes are for HC TDM and HC S&D.

My killstreaks are set low for now:

3 UAV

4 Care package

5 Predator missile

This loadout ensures that i always get easy points and kills quickly in every life. The care package can be whatever, even an ac130 which i got twice last night. Everybody is dropping many packages in every game so it's like a TDM-S&D thing. I benefit from enemy care packages but those kills don't add to the killsteak unlockables tally.

Later if and when i become better i plan to switch to:

UAV

Harrier Strike

Chopper gunner

What are u using? Did u get a headset? Special-ops need headset.

3 things:

1) I saw u join me in tdm - you SHOT me!

2) I ended up getting a Halo3 wireless headset (all they had in the shop).

3) I agree the maps can be tough. Rust is just too small and the respawning means you often die before taking your first breath or shoot someone rather cheaply in the back. Favela is hard, but isn't it just beautiful? I really admire the look and feel of it. I'm just completing challenges on m4a1, scavenged an m16 the other day and it seems just as deadly as it was in cod 4. The 3rd and 4th sniper rifles look heavenly, but that's a long way off for me (more reconnaisance required). The bridge challenge in spec ops is top drawer. Everything about it feels good, rapelling enemies, damaged cars, loads of choices about what to pick up on the way; awesome. I love the evasion challenge even though I can't beat it, that's the one I wanna try co-op first for sure.

We were teammates and i knifed u a couple of times to say hi.

I've just unlocked M16A4 and it owns like in COD4 and famas.

If you are interested we can work on the reconnaisance 2day. I spent 2 hours yesterday in half of the maps finding and studying lookouts, spots, routes and HC S&D related tactics. It really improved my K/D ratio immediately.

I and some Cypriots joined Mikkos briefly last night. He owned the enemy team. I was really surprised to see both of you in a non Free For All match.
