I downloaded  the demo from the JAP. Marketplace with my Jap. account and managed to try it once before MS locks it for us Europeans. Capcom has done it again. Lads, we are looking at the GotY.

NikeFerrari there is a collector's edition but i can't seem to find a pal version. The only one i found is steelbook case on play and game. Any ideas?

What troubles me is the fact that "Resident Evil 5" is not written on the packaging which means propably is not intended for Europe.

Let's hope Capcom Europe hasn't yet decided what online retailer should get the exclusivity or what things to include in the packaging. Sometimes even HMV or Gamestation get exclusive versions.

If there is a PS3 US edition then we can always get that. The problem is most people i know will probably get in on the 360.

I'm getting it on 360 as well. .....Damn it!.......I've just checked play-asia hoping to find it region free but both Jap and US versions are region locked.

At least we get to see more detailed pictures of the edition we, the Europeans are propably not getting.

The PS3 has also various versions from various regions but play-asia do not post these editions to Europe.

I think what i'm going to do is this: get the best European edition on 360 and play it and also get the most exclusive edition on PS3 for the collectables.

Capcom has confirmed the PS3 is getting a Resident Evil 5 demo after all - over a week later than it appears on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Levels Assembly Place and Shanty Town are included, and can be played alone with a computer-brain companion or with a friend in split-screen or PSN co-op.

The demo will be available on PSN from 2nd February. The full game, remember, comes out here on Friday 13th March.

I played the demo coop locally with Mardas.

Totally agree. Versus mode sucks. I'm glad i didn't download it.

Lost in Nightmares was awesome. The best chapter of RE5 and as good as RE4. Short but sweet.
