You can send it off for repairs dude - all free of charge. I managed to get it done from the UK and I know someone in Nicosia who did the same thing too. 

I dont know what the process is in Cyprus but when Microsoft extended their warranty from 1 year to 3 years it was a worldwide. 

We just need to find out how. This might be a good place to start ... CLICK ME.

Because if it is... I made the biggest mistake ever.

One small point: - my Xbox 360 is from the US - (Brought it with me)

Originally I heard the story of "you have to pay over $140 to send it to Microsoft to get repaired and it will take them a month", also I would have to pay shipping to send it over there, and I thought;   "why not find someone in Cyprus that can do this kind of repair with - possibly - even less dough. "

And I did; (That's the part where my waranty flew out of the window) and! the karagiozis (Can't think of anything else to name that guy) as it was proved later, did the job so poorly that I would be better off giving my 360 to a monkey to fix it.

Long story short I bought the RROD repair kit and fixed it myself. The xbox was running smoothly for one month and then...voila!

Also; I took a smirilio and actually sawed off the bottom of the inner case (the metal part) so it could get better air intake and the metal part where the fans were...

All in all, if it was free of all charge.. nicely done...
