Buzz
Played Buzz last night with 3 friends. Presentation wise it's better than Scene it and also it's not only about movies which makes it more accessible to non-movie friends.
On the other hand it's the same modes again and again making it repetive. Also while Scene It has modes which allow you to find the correct answer even if you don't know the movie, in Buzz you can only guess it.
Oh, the bluetooth buzzers are fantastic btw. A lot better than Scene It's infrared ones which force you to keep the buzzer pointing at the receiver all the time.
Anyone played the game?

Downloaded the following packs last night:
Sci-fi movies
Horror movies
National Geographic
Videogames
Around US$20 for all of them
I am trying to organise a board game and Buzz night on Saturday after the Thrylos Vs Paralimni game
Re: Buzz
I have Scene it. I love the diversity of the modes. Both franchises are good. It would be good if they added online modes to Scene it.

They have added online to the new one which is coming out soon.
Scene It has more variety and better modes than Buzz. I like that about it. However it's only movies and for some it's a drawback and the presentation is a bit blunt. They should have added some between the first Scene it and the new one.
Oh. And the Bluetooth buzzers for Buzz are way better. You don't have to always point it to the screen like with Scene It.
But both games are enjoyable and provide good fun for a gathering with friends.
P.S if you get the new Scene It let me know so that we can play online.
Re: Buzz
I'm definately getting the new Scene it on launch day.

I was thinking about it too but then read that there are far too few questions. I will wait until they release some DLC. Good party game though.
Re: Buzz
How many? As far as i remember the first had 2000.
Re: Buzz
I dunno about the number of questions but here is what a couple of reviewers wrote.
1up review
"Regardless, after only five to six hours of family-friendly trivia, questions start to repeat -- effectively killing the fun."
IGN review
"However, the number of questions on the disc is quite limited. Play just a handful of games and you?ll start getting repeat questions which defeats the whole purpose of playing a game that is intended to test your knowledge."
Gamespot had a more positive view and did not mention anything about limited questions. Maybe the eurogamer review will tip the balance.
Re: Buzz
I am still getting it. Even when we'll start seing repeated questions, there will still be the matter of quick response and reflexes that will grant you the most points.
Re: Buzz
Are you getting the game only or the buzzers too again?
Re: Buzz
Only the game. 4 buzzers are enough.
