Gamers Rejoice!!!

Video games are in my blood. Not a moment passes by that I do not play, think of or read about video games. I’ll be playing video games for as long as I physically CAN. I HAVE to play a video game every day. I do not have to sleep but I HAVE to play a video game. It’s that integral and vital to me.

Back in Blog

30 May 2008. That was the date of my last post, so yeah it's been awhile. But, like the header says, i am back and glad to be back as i've really missed blogging. My interntion is to write at least one "piece" on a weekly basis. The most important shift in my short blogging "career" is that i will not be writing only about videogames. Football, comics, movies and books are among the things i would like to talk about so you can expect to see these pop up as well.

Anyway, that's my coming back story.

Now i am off to wash the dishes, make an espresso and sit down to watch Awfool Vs Utd. A draw here will suit us Gunners just fine.

Next Generation?

Mardas's picture

Every magazine or forum I venture into these days seems to include a story or thread on people's opinion that this is not the next generation of gaming but rather just a prettier one. Apparently people want a new way to play, they expect more form their euro.

All their pontification though is nonsense, as the industry has clearly evolved and most have simply not or refused to sit up and take notice.

A bit of fun for everyone.

As roses bushes across the land are being butchered and their hacked body parts sold at extortionate prices to guilt ridden males in the name of love, I was pleasantly surprised this morning to find a refreshing email waiting for me in my inbox.

The email was from a friend called Egle Simkunaite (credit where credit is due) and after reading the brief text I clicked the link and was whisked away to another page. I was now playing a simple but clever game designed to "test Air Force Fighter Pilots". I don't know how much truth there is in that quote but what is true it that it's a lot of fun and it most definitely does test your hand to eye coordination. Egle also mentioned that her best time so far was 5.11 seconds.
