Gamers Rejoice!!!
Video games are in my blood. Not a moment passes by that I do not play, think of or read about video games. I’ll be playing video games for as long as I physically CAN. I HAVE to play a video game every day. I do not have to sleep but I HAVE to play a video game. It’s that integral and vital to me.
Imagine my frustration when 15 years ago I fractured my right hand’s thumb during a b-ball game. I knew it was broken, yet I went home to continue playing Zelda: A Link to the Past. The pain was unbearable but the thought of not being able to play was even more unbearable, hence I did not want to go to the doctor. I ended up going to the doctor and begging him to take care of my thumb in the best way to make it video-game-playing friendly. It was obvious that I had to abandon Zelda and my highly cherished catalogue of home consoles games only to follow my one alternative route: make ends meet in the poor and aged local arcades while still lacking the perfect physique…I was still very competitve on NBA JAM though.

Re: Gamers Rejoice!!!
When i am really hooked on a game it seems every event in my life revolves around it and how it affects it.
For example an invitation to watch football at a friend's house means that immediately i have to think of how i will squeeze in the necessary hours from something else in order to make up for the lost time.
I have even taken annual leave just so that i can stay home and play a specific game. When i was young i had the time but not the quantity of games that i have today. Now it's the other way around. I am not sure which one is worse.
