And then the fun begins . The trouble is; Monty doesn’t know which class to create or primary weapon to choose. The silenced MP5 quickly racked up 150 kills, but at mid to long range it felt like waving a pea shooter in a classroom full of catapults. 

Having explored the inner terrorist with a blast on the AK47 and rejected it on the grounds of too much recoil, Monty went for the agricultural hit and hope approach of the M249-SAW replete with fore grip and a shed load of bullets. In tight corners it’s a bit cumbersome, but if the Mont holds down the trigger long enough he tends to hit something eventually. 

 

Claymores made camping seem interesting for a while (I know I’m not supposed to!) However, there aren’t many more maddeningly embarrassing things than being shot while holding a booby trap and pressing its nonexistent trigger trying to shoot back. 

Despite a deep, Dirty Harry-esque desire, to run and gun with a pistol or blast and then bolt with a shotgun; the kill to death ratio tended to end up somewhat the wrong way round. And having been assured of the qualities of the much revered P90, Mont was maddened to discover that this particular armament cannot be unlocked until level 40. That’s LEVEL 40! As in 5,000,000 Mont hours against feeble opposition. 

So if you encounter Monty in an impromptu free for all online, please do the following:

1. Ignore the first 5 swishes of my knife and let me stab you anyway

2. Allow me time to reload my machine gun before putting a crafty shot between my eyes

3. Pretend that you didn’t hear the clinkety-clink of my aimlessly lobbed grenade

4. Walk slowly around blind corners and ignore any red v-shaped lines just above the ground

5. If you do kill me, run up close to my corpse and wait for a couple of seconds for martyrdom to give me another 5 points.
