Global Media Panic-demic

It must be summer. Temperatures have soared recently with yet another global media pandemic. Last year: Bird flu. This year: Pig Flew. Not a day passes without some report or other about a shortage of anti-virals or a predicted worst case scenario death-toll. And all the while, Monty sits looking out the Living room window (Binoculars and camera at the ready just in case another avian/human interest story opportunity passes by) and all he can see or hear are the Ziziros (those constantly chirping insect things); chrrp, chrrrrrp, chrrp, chrrrrrp, Ad infinitum!

Where are the flesh eating zombies?
Where are the giant mushroom clouds rising somewhere vaguely in the distant North Korean peninsula?
Where are the tortured bodies, writhing in agony, snorting like sows and covered in some strange gunk? (Apart from the ones that inhabit Monty’s magazine collection).

It’s just you, me and the constant background sound of humming AC units and Ziziros.

Monty is off to by a shotgun, large rations of tinned food and a gas mask. Just in case...

Re: Global Media Panic-demic

I've been ready for a pandemic since Niki Lauda knows when. I have a stockpile of around 50 games on various systems that i haven't played yet plus i dug a tunnel leading to the nearby Orphanides.

BTW Pandemic make nice games.

Re: Global Media Panic-demic
