Why did you sell Rodriguez and Reyes, was it financial or were they underperforming?
This is a problem you face
This is a problem you face with small or medium teams which have star players. Big clubs come asking to buy them.
Maxi Rodriguez i sold even before the start of the first season. I rejected the offer from Arsenal and the player was unhappy and asked that i let him go. So i did.
Reyes i sold after the end of the first season in exactly the same way. AC Milan asked, i rejected them twice and the played got pissed off. So i let him go. To be honest Reyes was not perfoming that well so i didn't mind plus i got enough money.
My biggest loss was Aguero (20year old wonderkid) who wanted to leave and eventually i sold him to Valencia. He was a fantastic player AMC/FC.
