For those about to rock
After forking out a fortune to get the entire instruments pack from ebay and the intial (1-2 months) exuberance of playing the drums i completely abandoned the game. I even dowloaded a few more songs and did not play them.
But now it’s time to dust off those guitars and drums because it’s rocking time. After the band released their latest album, Black Ice which i loved, they will now be releasing AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack which features the following 18 songs from their Live at Donington concert.
“Thunderstruck”
“Shoot to Thrill”
“Back in Black”
“Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be”
“Heatseeker”
“Fire Your Guns”
“Jailbreak”
“The Jack”
“Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”
“Moneytalks”
“Hells Bells”
“High Voltage”
“Whole Lotta Rosie”
“You Shook Me All Night Long”
“T.N.T.”
“Let There Be Rock”
“Highway To Hell”
“For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)”
Awesome playlist.
The songs will not be available for download but will be sold as a separate disc. The European release is in December although i could not find a definite date.
Here is the ad promoting the game to get you rocking!

Re: For those about to rock
I'm on the verge of taking the plunge, but I like the drumming and I'm a bit confused. Play.com has 3 different drum kits, the basic for £70, the new one (instruments and free bass guitar) for £150 which now has cymbals, and finally, the £200+ affair that has more things to hit than a room full of Arsenal supporters (not even sure if this can be used on the 360). They can't all be used on all rock band versions surely? So which to buy?
Re: For those about to rock
Buy the game (solus), buy the standalone guitar, buy the premium microphone, buy the guitar coffin case, buy the 200+ drum bonanza......and switch team
Re: For those about to rock
I had a look at play and was also confused. With the GBP99 instruments (currently out of stock) pack you can get all the instruments which were in Rock Band. The game is sold separately and you can get the RB2 which works with the old instruments. I don't know about the other drum kits.
If you only want the drums and the game i saw the drums pack of the first RB at Stephanis (don't know price). If you want the new instruments you might need to wait until the next year while the software will be available late November.
