PETAKTOU MALAKA
When asked by people why do I game, my usual and simple (easy) answer is because they are fun. Playing videogames however can be a turbulent ride and not always of the fun kind.
A couple of days ago, i got stuck at Super Mario Galaxy and had to repeat the same planet 3-4 times. At some point, right before another imminent death, i yelled at the TV, "PETAKTOU MALAKA!" (JUMP YOU A.......LE). I am not sure if videogames' most iconic character heard me but he still fell to his inevitable death.

Hell Hath No Fury... Possible death by Xbox warning
Last week we heard about the woman who murdered her husband with his own cricket bat and a kitchen knife. Monty couldn’t help but wonder which came first? Did she stick him with the blade and then drive his head over the boundary for 4? Or did she knock him down with the bat before going to work with the carving knife? Perhaps she went akimbo and battered him with both at the same time.

Borefield: Bad Company
I've been playing Battlefield: Bad Company for the past week or so as it has been a game that i really wanted to try last year but missed the boat. Unfortunately, the single player campaign is extremely disappointing.
I can not get used to the controls and specifically the aiming part. It reminds me of the problems i have with FPS games on the PS3 where due to the sensitivity of the analog stick i find myself constantly making minor changes to aim properly. Bungie, Infinity Ward and so many others have shown us that this is not longer an issue on 360 FPS games.

A gamer's choice
Sam Fischer needs to rescue an undercover CIA operative in Kishasa. He can do it the perfect way or the immersive way. Is one better than the other?
Let me explain.
The perfect way is to get a 100% stealth rating at the end of the mission which usually involves avoiding contact with the enemy and leaving no traces of your entry and exit. That may require a greater number of saves and retries to achieve this as there is some trial and error in what works and what does not. In addition, complete all the objectives requested by both NSA(government agency) and JBA(terrorist organisation) which gives you higher levels of trust and can also unlock equipment for you to use.
